Children In Need Day November 14th 2008
Destiny Africa performed for children, parents and visitors at a coffee morning. These children were from the orphanage in Kampala, Uganda
that school supported last Christmas. It was a wonderful performance and we enjoyed meeting them.
Y6 planned the day with a 'sport' theme. Everyone paid to come to school dressed as a sporting character. During the day each class completed a sponsored run around the playground and then during the afternoon everyone was able to play games designed by the Y6 children. They did a marvellous job and raised a fantastic amount of money!
